Ken Adams wonders “What am I looking at, here?”

Ken and Chanandler bring on the cute.

Susie is all “YOU PUT ME DOWN, LADY!”

Princess Consuela says “Youuuuuu will fall under my spell, innernets!”

“Hey, Art. You gots to put your paws in the air, like this. Paws up, y’all!”

“They’re up! They’re up!”

“Didn’t we have a discussion about that camera, lady? Did I not make myself clear?”

Ken was surprised to wake up and find himself in the air, but he wasn’t too alarmed about it.

“What we doin’, lady?” (Chanandler)

“Hi, Mama! Hi!” says Bert Macklin.

I will tell you what, that Ken Adams is going to be TROUBLE.

“Hi, Mama! Hi!”

Art Vandelay at the milk bar.

Oh, Ken. Don’t you know it’s bad form to laugh that hard at your own joke?

Regina’s goopy eye wasn’t getting any better, so I packed her and the babies up and took them all to the vet yesterday afternoon. Regina needed her combo test, so they did it while we were there. The vet said there’s not an abrasion on the eye, so it’s an infection. I’ll keep putting ointment in her eye, and started her on an antibiotic. Hopefully that’ll knock it out. She did say to keep an eye on the babies’ eyes. So far, they look good!

Regina was watchful but calm, and the babies pretty much slept the entire time.

Sheriff Mama (Kara) enjoys rolling around on the patio in the sun more than just about anything else. That’s her happy face, if you were curious.

  1. Jeepers Creepers, where did you get those peepers? Jeepers, creepers, where did you get those eyes!? (For Ken Adams)

  2. Have I mentioned lately how much I love the captions you put with your fantastic photos? You make me smile. Thank you!

    • DITTO! I think that EVERY SINGLE DAY! Almost invariably, there’s at least one that makes me literally bust out laughing. Today’s “That’s her happy face, if you were curious” was the one that did it for me.

Tell Kara that I can so relate. “Resting b—- face” IS a thing!

  3. Oh my goodness, that Ken Adams is a character. Beginning to think little Susie is a bit of a drama queen, though.

  4. Awww, Sherriff Mama–so pretty and so serious! What met dad would have called ” an old sober-sides”!

  5. Lol, look at the paws on Art! He’s gonna be a big (squishy) boy. 🙂

When I saw those first pictures of Ken, I thought, huh, he looks pretty chill! Not screaming despite being picked up… But, yeah, what a character!

  6. Is the infected eye the one Regina keeps closed in that first picture of her? Poor girl! But you must be keeping it clean because I haven’t seen any goop!

    • Yeah, it’s her left eye. I try to keep it clean – I hate to see goopy eyes. She does a pretty good job of keeping her face washed, too. 🙂

  7. First time I saw that little mime face of Ken Adams’ I thought of Marcel Marceau .

  8. I’d really love to see those pictures of the flying cats. I forget who it was but I think one was orange? Thanks!

  9. The last picture of Ken with his mouth wide open makes me think of a baby bird. Wonder if he will have bird like characteristics as he grows? Hehe!

  10. I have a question for the cat crew here. Anyone ever had a cat lose a claw? I think she damaged it, because she’s been limping for a couple of days, but yesterday I noticed it had come out entirely. I think it hurts, but it’s clean and shows no signs of infection. Should I take her to the vet?
