ATTENTION: The Forgotten Felines of Huntsville online auction starts tomorrow on Facebook, and there’s a bunch of very cool stuff (new stuff will be added each day, too.) Go follow the page here! (It starts tomorrow morning at 8 AM Central Time.)
Love the timeline links, all about Ambercup in 2015!! She still loves her food, she is the cleanup baby, but I have to limit it to keep her fit. I saw the title was about being hungry and I figured it was the Squash bugs! Didn’t guess Amber would be the star!
Bottle babies who take the bottle so easily and so well are just SUCH a joy! (I love her wiggly-eared bottle video!)

I have a couple of questions. How long do you leave any left over wet food out and which weight scale do you have? I need to get one and wondered which one you have or would recommend.
It depends on who the food is for. In the foster room, I’ll usually leave canned food out for an hour or so before I pick it up. If it’s for the permanent residents, they get 15 or 20 minutes to eat what they’re going to eat before it gets picked up.
For scales, when they’re teeny tiny, I use this kitchen scale. Once they get bigger (and are too wiggly for that scale), I use this pet scale, which appears to be no longer available (of course!) I used to have this scale and liked it (it was knocked down from atop a countertop and never worked right after that.)

Patsy’s all “Hanging out in the Fruitasan, lady. You need something?”
The kittens like to go under the bed and wrassle, and sometimes Lilia likes to join in.
And off she goes to sleepyland.
Nolan in the bed full o’ toys, also napping.
Owen’s asleep too. I guess it’s been an exhausting day.

Charlie and Khal have a mid-day nap. (Well, Charlie’s napping. Khal’s mid-complaint!)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
Throw Back Thursday: 5 years ago, now-permanent resident Charlie was our foster, then named Aramis. I recently saw a picture of tiny Charlie/Aramis in the tunnel scratcher (with foster siblings Athos (orange) and Porthos). Which led to this picture of now-Charlie with the tunnel scratcher… and then a little bit of photoshopping. I like how it turned out! (Regarding the permanent residents: Charlie and Alice both started out as fosters; Khal just showed up on our property and stuck around.)
🎉 Former fosters Dahlia (Hazel) and Cosmos (Monty)! Tabatha reported: “Looked to see why Violet [the dog] is whining. These two darlings commandeered her dining room spot. 🥰 Violet made it work eventually and Dahlia came back for snuggles. [And, from this morning] Morning backyard watch.” (Thanks, Tabatha!)

Throw Back Thursday: from 2023. Mama Uhura and her Trekklings (and Troi, complaining. Her rusty little voice is the best!)
Lilia says “I SEE you, lady!” and Patsy says “Yeah, mama. You tell her!”

Nolan and Owen really like that orange Twirlydoo (official name: Whisker City Spring Toy, but what a boring name. It’s obviously a Twirlydoo), there’s some climbing practice, and then at the end Owen graces us with a skitter.
Lilia’s face is cracking me up. “Do something with these children, lady. Mama needs some quiet time!” (Patsy, left, and Nolan)
Good night innernets. (Owen (left) and Nolan)
