“Gobble gobble.”

Happy Thanksgiving, Americans – and Happy Thursday, the rest of you!

Throw Back Thursday: Thanksgiving Day 2009.

“Are you sure they said 11:00? I don’t see anything in there but a roasting pan. Are we too early?”

(That picture was taken back in 2009, the first and last year we ever raised turkeys. I always say that God created chickens and then he said “Huh. I wonder if I could make something dumber than a chicken” and he did.)

2017: Jake is like “Yeah, just you wait, whippersnapper.”
2016: And then it all went terribly wrong.
2015: No entry.
2014: What better way to spend a wet, wintry Sunday?
2013: Carmela is just a little ‘nip fiend.
2012: “I’m thankful for being gorgeous.”
2011: Chuckles. PLEASE. Am I going to have to get you a valium? Calm DOWN.
2010: Reacher has reached overload, apparently.
2009: I told Fred she’s a kitten magnet.
2008: No entry.
2007: Bath time in the condo.
2006: On ur desk slurping ur water (and about to take flight).
2005: I suppose this is one way to spoon.

Happy Thanksgiving to all… as others have said, I am thankful for this blog and the fostering we get to witness. And for the lovely permies too 🙂

This blog led me in a roundabout way to my own dear Clara girl, the sweetest silver-cream tabby cat in the whole wide world, so I will always be thankful for that!!!

  5. Happy Thanksgiving to all! I love the turkey picture (can’t believe it was 2009) but time flies when you are having fun watching kittens grow and play.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving to All. May your day be wonderful and blessed. I am so thankful for first having found Challenger’s House from where Jessica (and Jasmine RIP) joined our family and to Forgotten Felines and Love & Hisses from where Andre and Bella joined our family. I am also thankful to the kitty communities who share my love for all kitties.
