Pita sat on top of the sunflower tree and played a round of Slappy Paws with Bolt and Lollygag.
A little breakfast. (Second breakfast for Pita. I let her eat a little, and then I put her out of the room so the kittens could eat.)

Meander is going into heat (her kittens are 6 1/2 weeks old, which is right about the time it usually happens, and I would like a word with Mother Nature about that), and it’s made her more talkative. Fortunately – in my experience – the first heat after having kittens tends to be on the shorter side, so it only lasts a couple of days. She goes next Tuesday for her spay, so it’ll be her last heat cycle, and I think we are all glad for that!

We have two automated laser lights that go off at random times; as it turns out, Carson is a laser light fan! (Pita’s not sure what she thinks about him scampering about, but I like seeing him play!)

PitaZilla has entered the building, and Skitter is not impressed. (If you’re worried about how Pita is playing with him, note that she never actually makes contact when she slaps at him, and backs off when he hisses. And instead of running to a safe place, Skitter just watches her to see what she does next.)
