Five Sisters

The five sisters – Dulcinea, Elle, Felicia, Punki and Skittles – came to us in early October of 2007. They were about five months old, the kittens of a feral mother who had been trapped, neutered and released, and were just with us while waiting for room to open up at Petsmart. They were a bit skittish and timid, but very very sweet. They were with us for about a day, and then room became available, and off they headed.

Dulcinea was adopted pretty quickly, and the other four stayed at Petsmart for a while. At the middle of November, they came home for a break, and stayed about 2 1/2 weeks. Felicia and Punki went back to Petsmart on December 5th. On December 11th, due to Punki and Felicia vomiting, they came home and Elle and Skittles went to Petsmart. A month later, Punki and Felicia went back to Petsmart, and Elle and Skittles came home for a break. A little more than a month later, Elle and Skittles went back to Petsmart and Felicia and Punki came back to us. Finally, FINALLY, on February 22nd, Elle and Skittles were adopted (together, I think), and Punki and Felicia went back to Petsmart the next day. Whereupon Punki was adopted that very day. It took a little while longer for Felicia, but on March 10th she, was finally adopted.

The first post about them is here. Here’s where the posts about them coming home for a break from Petsmart begin. There are links at the top and bottom of each entry; click on the one on the right to take you to the next entry.
