Lilia’s all “Dangit. She found me!”
Patsy and the Precious Moments eyes.
Owen and Nolan have a wrassle in the spaceship.
Owen’s all “Got yer tail, Nolan!”
Nolan swats at Patsy while Owen watches.
Lilia wonders “How do they keep finding me?!”
Lilia’s trip to Michelle’s for her microchip insertion and rabies shot (by the mobile vet, who was at Michelle’s doing spays and neuters) went just fine. She sang most of the way to Michelle’s, handled being at Michelle’s far more calmly than some fosters have in the past, and she was mostly quiet on the drive home. (I can report that she much prefers to be in the front seat (in her carrier), as opposed to the back seat. Though I suppose if there’d been a person in the back seat to pet her through the carrier, she’d have likely been fine with that.)
There has been an application for Lilia that sounds like it’s a good one, I’m just waiting to hear if it’s been approved. It’s a family with a cat who has a personality very much like Lilia’s, who needs a friend. I think that’d be great for her – as much fun as it seems she’s having with her kittens, she’s been spending a lot of time walking away from them and doing the move I call “the scrape” where she leads them to me, lets them start nursing, and then walks away in hope that they’ll stay with me and leave her alone. (Works pretty well, as long as she waits ’til they’re falling asleep.)

Charlie loves to hang out in Fred’s office, very close to Fred’s chair. Fred worries that he’s going to forget Charlie’s there and might roll over one of his feet or his tail. So Fred put this bed on his office floor to see if it might sort of corral Charlie, and whattaya know? It worked!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.
The kitten tree is loaded down. They’re not quite ready for pickin’, but we’re getting there! (From top: Owen, Patsy, Nolan.)

The kittens, playing. I think they love that cube as much as their mama does.
“We’ll take our Churu any time, lady.” (From left: Nolan, Lilia, Owen & Patsy)

I said “Owen, you are such a good-looking fella.” and Owen said “Huh. She’s right. I really am!”

Have they tried to get on the wall shelves yet?
I was just wandering the same thing. Is the long shelf gone?
Like the unintentional rainbow effect. Is that Judy Garland in the background that I hear!
I think Fred’s gonna need a bigger bed!
