In case you missed seeing the post about it, Leia was on the news Friday!

I did take the camera with me, but ended up only snapping a couple of pictures that didn’t come out all that great. I didn’t get any pictures while the news segment was going on, because I was prepared in case Leia got crazy and needed to be handed off (she was fine – a little nervous, but fine).

She wasn’t scared of the other people (here, she was being petted by someone who was waiting to go on), she was just nervous about the whole situation. That mall is really loud, and people walking by on the second level freaked her out for some reason.

This was pretty much how she felt about the whole thing.

Scorch, feelin’ floofy.

Norbert, keeping an eye on the shenanigans.

Khaleesi’s trying to decide if that stuffed kitten needs a smack or a lick.

Pretty, pretty Scorch.

Norbert has moved across the room to the basket, where he can continue to keep an eye on the goings-on.

I think we can all tell exactly what move Scorch is considering here.

Have I mentioned that Ember is tiny but scrappy? She doesn’t hesitate for ONE moment to jump on one of her much bigger siblings.

Norbert’s new observation post.

Those little Starks spend a lot of time piled up together.

Apparently they crack each other up, too.

Jon Snow would like to know what I’m doing and WHERE his bottle is.

Brandon spends a lot of time rolling around on his back. Silly boy.

After they’ve eaten and been pottied, they climb into my lap and roll around some more.

Paws up, y’all!

Hodor looks JUST like a wee baby lion here, doesn’t he?

Arya always looks like she’s contemplating the best way to kick my butt.

Happy, happy Joe.

2012: No entry.
2011: Finnegan’s face is cracking me up. “THIS ARE MY SPOT YOU GO AWAY.”
2010: Bolitar, at home wherever he happens to land.
2009: Saying goodbye to Mister Boogers.
2008: Poor little monsters, they have no idea what’s coming!
2007: No entry.
2006: No entry.
2005: For the most part Mister Boogers left the kittens alone, though Oy kept going over and sniffing at him, and he could hardly stand it, and he would growl and raise his paw to smack that kitten across the room, but then I would say “Mis. Ter. Boog. Ers.” in my Mean Lady voice, and he’d put his paw back down and walk away.

  1. Hopefully Leia’s gorgeous presence will get all the kittens quickly adopted!!! [fingers crossed]
    Hello, Joe Bob…

  2. Leia is such a gorgeous girl!

All of the kittens are just so wonderful, I want to kiss them all very much. I would actually like ‘kitten kisser’ to be my official job!

I can’t believe it’s been 6 years since Mister Boogers. Wow. Whenever my cats are giving me evils, I always think of his ‘het’! Miss you, Boogie!

  3. Leia’s tail is sooooooooo floofy – just like mum’s! She did good!!

The pile of Starks are too cute with their pink noses and toesies!!

    Take care

  4. Leia looks so cute with her little pink harness!

Go Ember! Little attitude goes a long way 🙂

  5. Norbert has earned a place of honor just like Stompers did! Your lion comment though made me think about the Wizard of Oz. Have you used a naming theme centered around that yet? Dorothy, Glinda and maybe Auntie Em for girls. Hunk, Zeke, Hickory, Professor Marvel, maybe even Toto.

  6. Oh my goodness, I shouldn’t laugh at Leia’s “OMG!!” face, but that second pic is amazing! And her tail in the first pic is sooooo floofy I just want to reach into the screen and fuss her! Here’s hoping all the little Royals get their forever homes soon!

  7. I love Hodor! He’s so adorable… they all are, but the name really does it for me 😀

That pic of Scorch and Khaleesi should be captioned: “Dude. My eyes are up *here*.” *snicker*

  8. OMG Stompers inspecting the kitchen haha what a great set of photos. <3

Arya is killing me. She is going to be one beautiful kitty.

  9. I was never informed that Leia had such a floofy tail…that should surely seal the deal on a speedy adoption!
