Thank you all so much for your kind words about Alice – I appreciate it so much! It’s so odd to not see her sitting in her favorite chair or curled up in her pink cube. Charlie and Khal haven’t reacted to her absence at all, but I’m sure that they miss her. It wasn’t until about mid-day yesterday that I realized she was the last of our Challenger’s House kitties*, so it truly is the end of an era for us.
*After she showed up on our doorstep, we added her to our then-fosters, the Brady Bunch (I was then fostering for Challenger’s House), and she actually went to Petsmart for about a day before Fred decided she needed to come back for good.

“Don’t feel like danglin’, lady.”

Kate considers coming over for a cuddle.

Reverb on the wall shelf with the end of his tail curled up is the CUTEST.

Rum says “OUTTA MY WAY, I GOT PLACES TO GO!”

“I need to lay the ol’ chomperoo on Reverb!”

After I took the “Rabbit rabbit rabbit” picture of Reverb the other day, I left the carrot scratcher on the table. Ollie had to check it out.
To be clear: when that scratcher was on the floor, none of them paid the slightest bit of attention to it. Now that it’s on the table (at least for now), they find it interesting. Ain’t it always the way?

The sun really makes Rum’s eyes look even MORE amazing!

🎉 Former foster Pippin (formerly Carmy) is, I assure you, not at ALL spoiled! (Thanks, Sharon!)

They’ve had their breakfast, now it’s time to play!

Your daily Rumdangle. (I think that basket is his very favorite danglebase. I may have to send it home with him when he’s adopted!)

Ollie’s all “What’s she doing?”
Reverb: “I dunno, but it better involve food.”

Kate always looks like she’s slightly amused.

Good night innernets. (Reverb)

The end of an era indeed, i hope you’re finding ways to soothe yourselves with the shenanigans in the kitten room! Rum just randomly vampire biting everyone is cracking me up, and I love how Reverb is just like ‘oh well’ when it happens lol. Everyone is looking adorable as ever!
I’m sorry for your life as of Alice. Thank you for doing this essential work. I look forward to seeing your foster groups and posts. I look forward to the daily Rumdangle posts too!
Loss of Alice – hate autocorrect!
Hey Ollie, Got Milk?
So sorry for your loss of Alice. I lost my last little dog a few months ago, and still miss her terribly. However, my two cats help with that — Cornbread (14) and Blackie (9) cuddle with me now.
How many permanent residents does this leave you? At one time I had NINE permanent cats, and that was a handful!
Yeah no.
Sharon’s kitties ARE spoiled. Thank you Sharon!
I can’t be the first to say this – but we’ve all noticed how much Reverb looks like Charlie right? (no, I’m not saying keep him – I know better….but there is a resemblance)
