Fanta and Sundrop discovered the bed and Moxie is trying to figure out what’s going on.
Sundrop’s all “But Mama, I can’t get to you when you’re up there.” And Sodapop’s all “Oh, really? I had no idea.”
Like mother, like son (Fanta).
Poppi makes an excellent leg rest.
Moxie’s a handful.
Sodapop shows Fanta how to sharpen his claws.
And yep, Fanta sure did climb up there on his own. He wasn’t sure how he did that, and he had no idea how to get down, so I assisted.

The kittens are 4 weeks old as of yesterday, and I always forget how much they change in that one week. Last week I was still nervous about them leaving the nest and getting “lost”, this week I am 100% on board with them motoring all over the room. They’re climbing a little bit, they’re playing with toys, they’re wrestling and harassing their mama. I put out the litter boxes, and once I put them in the litter box, they peed. They have NOT (to my knowledge) actually climbed into the litter box on their own, but I’m sure that’ll start happening in the next day or so.

Sundrop did a sideways skitter, but I wasn’t fast enough to catch it (darn!) Sodapop was hanging out behind the space heater and starts getting grabby with her kittens, who did not know WHAT she was doing.

Former fosters! Meander fell asleep watching birds (it’s tiring work) and Pip (Carmy) and Rupert (Richie) are having a lot of fun – with each other and with that wire tunnel toy. Sharon reports that there’s nothing Rupert loves more than a snuggly snooze with someone, and as it turns out, Pip is a big talker! (He must’ve gotten that from his adopted mama Tina.) Stapler “discovered” that little yellow ball and is having quite the time with it. Meanwhile, Paper Clip is in my lap and gets some BOOPs, and Posty is just being Posty.
Fanta’s silly little face is cracking me up. I think he just realized that he can follow his mama around if he wants to!
