Fizz really likes that wall cubby. “The better to keep an eye on you, lady.”

Mimosa strikes a pose. (And in the background, Reverb says “What’s going on over THERE?”)

Mimosa strikes a standing pose, so you can see that her white socks are not the same length. (And Reverb says “What’m I missing?”)

Mimosa manages, somehow, to look even cuter. (And Reverb says “Here I come!”)

A shot of all 7. Reverb atop the cat tree on the left, Mimosa below him. Fizz in the bottom left of the photo (at the food bowl.) Spritz in the pie plate, Rum and Reese behind her, and Whiskey over there on the right.

Reese checks out her look in the mirror.

Whiskey’s having a blast with that yellow mouse.
In mid-run, while Fizz watches.

Charlie has had a very relaxing holiday, if you were worried.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

If you think Fizz was purring up a storm while I held him like that, you are 100% correct.

While some of the other kittens put on their crazypants, Reverb is a little oasis of calm.

“Proceed with the pettin’, lady,” says Whiskey.

This video is bookended by vigorous baths (thanks to Mimosa and Fizz), with a closeup visit from Reese (who shows off her claw sharpening skills), and Whiskey wanders by. A little of this, a little of that.

Mimosa, as it turns out, is a cute little poser.

Good night innernets, from King Reverb.

That Reese and her gorgeous white floof! Have you been brushing her? I’m wondering how she likes that? She’ll certainly be seeing a lot of a brush in her life with that wonderful fur!
Glad to see that Charlie is getting some rest after the Holiday festivities! 😉
I’ve brushed her a few times! She doesn’t love it, but she also doesn’t hate it – I imagine that if she’s offered treats during or after brushing time, she’d tolerate it just fine.
I’m impressed by the mid-run photo of Whiskey, where he is (mostly) in focus whereas everything else in the shot is a little blurred. The effect is less strong in the full-size version on Flickr, but the smaller one here on the blog has kind of an “action movie special effect” vibe.
I don’t mean to be an unnecessary worrier or a pain, especially a pain, but poor sweet Martini’s got me extra zoomed in on these kittens (you’re no doubt doing the same thing, only you’re actually there and not a weirdo from afar like me!) so please forgive me asking. Everyone is healing up, playing up a storm, being lovey, all the normal kitten things? Mr. Rum the lovebug is kinda scarce in the last couple days’ posts and I am, as I said, an unnecessary worrier, plus I love the Labrador kitties, so… Everything’s okay in Kittenville? For all I know, he’s got his crazypants on in that video and I missed it by virtue of being an audio-only gal! Sorry, Robyn.
He wasn’t feeling well, so was spending more time on my lap than playing. Turns out he’s got a bit of an ear infection, so hopefully he’ll be back to playing once that’s feeling better.
You have the best foster care setup I’ve seen. I pray you and all your rescues have a blessed and beautiful 2026.
