In case you missed it…

Mambo and Flamenco were adopted Saturday morning (together) and went home! They’re local here in the Huntsville (Alabama) area, and are the only pets. He’s still Mambo, and she’s now Fancy.
They settled RIGHT in (which I love seeing!) and are living the life.
Today’s post has the rest of the pictures I took before they headed home.

Some day the people who design electronic cat toys are going to figure out NOT to put the on/off buttons on the top of the toy. You know, where kittens like to sit.

I love it when they stand up to get to the Churu.

Charlie came into the foster room to check out the food situation and use their litter box, and Mambo hissed him out of the room.

The vacuum cleaner was going, and they did not approve.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) this weekend.

Flamenco’s all “GIMME that camera!”

They were spayed/neutered yesterday, but it certainly didn’t slow them down. Business as usual – Mambo chasing balls, Flamenco chasing her tail.

Kittens in wreaths! (Copious amounts of Churu were involved in the making of these pictures.)

Mambo’s just hanging out on the stairs, admiring the Christmas lights.

I got this picture by TOTAL accident. Mambo was standing up on his back legs sniffing the tree and I thought “What a cute shot!” JUST as I took the picture, Flamenco popped out from behind the tunnel and startled him, and he took flight. It’s a much clearer picture than it has any right to be (and I love it.)

Good night innernets. (Flamenco & Mambo)

Flamenco and Mambo and the Adirondack chair. That chair has gotten so much smaller since October! 🙂

Hooray, hooray, Flamenco & Mambo were adopted today! They were adopted here locally in the Huntsville (Alabama) area and will be the only pets in their home. Mambo will keep his name – Flamenco is now “Fancy”! Happy life, sweet babies! ❤️
(Side note: I know it bothers some people when fosters are renamed. I assure you – these kittens probably thought their names were “C’mon, guys!”, “Don’t bite your sister!” or the old standby “Whooo wants a Churuuuuu?!” The name change isn’t going to confuse her.)

Good night innernets. (Permanent resident Charlie)
Yes, it has been VERY quiet in this house today. We’ll get the new guys (several older kittens) in a couple of days. Until then, posting will be light – I’ve got a foster room to scrub down, and a thousand and one errands to run that I’ve been putting off.

🎉 Look who it is! Former fosters Mambo and Fancy (formerly Flamenco) looking so relaxed and content after just a few hours in their new home! I absolutely LOVE it! ❤️ (Thanks Fred & Elaine and Lisa for passing them along!)

Flamenco (now “Fancy”) and Mambo (still Mambo!) were adopted yesterday and went home here locally in the Huntsville (Alabama) area. They are the only pets in their new home, and they will be so loved and SO spoiled!
Here’s their “From ‘hello’ to adoption” video for the time they were with us.
Side note: We will be getting new fosters – several older kittens – in a few days. ‘Til then, posting will be light as I scrub down the foster room and prep it for the new bunch.

Love to see the kittens so happy in their new home! And that ‘fright by the christmas tree’ shot is hilarious!
Love the kittens in the wreath shot! They look like they’re actually smiling in the last one.
