I really wish the camera had focused on Dandelion, but I think you can see her face well enough to get the idea. She was excited, to say the least.

I was awakened at 3 a.m. by the sound of feather teasers being dragged around my bedroom by growling kittens. Apparently, Abby and Willie Rae broke into the stash and Willie Rae isn’t so good at sharing. I should probably do something other than laugh and cuddle her, but it’s so stinking adorable.
Yeah, I had to hide Da Bird in the bureau drawer. The cats were getting up on the bookshelf in the middle of the night and dragging it down. 🙂

Look at Miz Poo nonchalantly sneaking the kitten food while the Girlz are otherwise occupied! She looks like she could be the Mama of the three Weeds girls, doesn’t she? (I’m sure she’d be highly insulted if you told her I said that, though! :-))
I noticed Miz Poo back there too! She sure hates to be near those kittens, doesn’t she? 😉 Although access to kitten food is probably a major perk.
She’s got to taste it and make sure it hasn’t gone bad! 🙂

That is indeed Miz Poo. She’s actually not a big cat – she used to be bigger, but in her old age she’s thinned out a bit. 🙂

I think you’re right! I was thinking she was going to be medium-haired, but her fur seems to keep getting longer!
I think Elwood looks wistful in that second shot, so he doesn’t look grumpy 100% of all the time! I love the action shots of the ‘Mater boys and Weeds girls. It makes me happy to see their playtime. My two oldsters are at the stage of life where even da Bird doesn’t do anything for them. Their loves right now are the heating vents!
We have a heating vent in the kitchen where the kittens like to congregate on cold mornings. 🙂

OMG, I just LOVE that picture of Dandelion flying through the air – she’s hysterical. I’m still madly in love with her and think she would match our little blind (mostly) white kitty PERFECTLY. Too bad I don’t live anywhere near you. Or need another cat. Sigh.
