  3. I think I need a road trip to get a Trader Joe. That kitten is getting under my skin like no other.

    1. I’m already on the road for him! You are too late…and I think I will steal Von and WD whilst I am at it! LOL

      Actually I would if I could, so PLEASE go get him (ok, and all the others) so we will forever get updates and pictures!!! 🙂

    1. Hmmmmnnnnhmmmm yesssss. Once on a trek through Afghanistan we lost our catnip … and were forced to live on food and water for several days.

  8. Robyn Hi from San Francisco. I read your posts every day with my morning coffee. Ive had rough year (breast cancer) and your posts always brighten my mornings. You make a difference not just with your fur babies and permanent critters in residence, but for us too! Thank you for all you do.

    I’d like to put out a PSA if I may? Years ago my torbie Gidget ate some curling ribbon …the kind you wrap presents with. She almost died. As the season for decorations and gift wrapping is approaching, fellow cat lovers watch the ribbon, yarn, etc. Pass it on!

      I have gotten so lazy in the last several years that I slap wrapping on the presents we’re giving, and don’t even put ribbons on them. 🙂

    Hello Charlotte ! Yes I feel the same way about the whole gang at Crooked Acres !! They are the best pick me up ! Also everyone whole follows L & H, they have helped me through some tough times.

    I also had had a cat that ate some small twisted garland one Christmas. Since then I never put garland or tinsel on my trees. It is scary what these things can do to a cats innards. Keep all your critters safe !!!

    1. Well, that’s a good question. I have no idea why it disappeared, or why I can’t get it to look like it did. It’s there for now, but I may have to tinker!

      1. Okay, I think that’s about what it looked like before, am I right? I had to download a new plugin, and for the life of me I can’t remember how it looked before.
