    1. There’s always a chance – I’m sure Lisa gave them the address for Love & Hisses, so maybe they’ll let us know how she’s doing. I hope so! 🙂

  21. She was just waiting for the people that smelled like they could afford to feed her the good stuff (why go home with folks that smell like Hamburger Helper when you can sniff out the folks that smell like filet mignon?) I hope Ms. Razzie has a wonderful life in her new furever home!

    1. Last I heard, she’s doing well. She won’t let anyone touch her, but she hangs out on the bales of hay in the barn, she plays and hunts and eats, and she seems pretty happy. 🙂

      1. Well, that’s sounds like a perfect life for Emmy, so I’ll be happy. So now she’s in a good place and all her kits are in good homes… That’s a happy ending!

  40. Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY Yay YAY!!!!!!

    I nearly got to send my Benny home yesterday when a lady desperately wanted to adopt him while I was there (Yay!) and then her teenage daughter decided she wanted another kitten instead… and mom gave in. Serves her right. She doesn’t deserve my Benny anyway. Never knew that I’d take this so personally.

    1. That’s right, she totally does NOT deserve your Benny!

      It’s hard not to take it personally – which is why I stay far away from Petsmart when adoptions are going on! 🙂

  43. Wouldn’t it be neat if the new forever families knew that their new adoptees had such a huge fan club base? How many people had kept up with their progress and sat on pins and needles while the adoption process was going on? And how we all get excited and cheer for them when it happens? And shed a few tears of relief? I wish they only knew…

    Since my elderly, cat-hating Dachshund died a few months ago, I’ve been trying to talk my husband into adopting a cat. Based on several interactions, I think our younger dog not only tolerates them, but actually likes them. He and my husband regularly meet on on their morning walk, and he and Cootie often “boop” noses.

    My husband’s pretty adamant about not getting any more animals for a while. Bless his heart, the doxie was a never-ending money pit. I loved him with all my heart, and would have sold a kidney if it would have helped him, but I swear, since he’s been gone it’s like we got a HUGE raise. I guess I understand hubs’ reluctance to take on another animal, but I WANT A KITTY, DAMMIT!
