Well look there – Rum DOES do positions other than the Rumdangle. The rarely-seen Rumloaf!

Whiskey with the fabulous whiskers.

Reverb is expanding his horizons. In the top wall bed…

Reese was in the top of the cat tree checking out the birds in the back yard when SUDDENLY FIZZ! (Reese’s face is cracking me UP.)

Reese will chitchat sometimes, but this whole bunch is pretty quiet.

Charlie with one paw over his eyes is JUST SO FREAKING CUTE.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

Reverb’s keeping an eye on that feather teaser and showing off his fangs at the same time. He’s such a cute old guy. (He’s not really “old,” he’s only about 9 months old, he just looks like a sweet old guy.)

Did you know that Fizz is still available for adoption? True story! He’s 5 1/2 months old, SUPER playful, a little bit crazy, and gets along great with other cats. (We are located in the Huntsville, Alabama area – out of area adoptions are allowed, but adopters must come here to complete the adoption.) Email to inquire at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an application right here.

Fizz is such a silly little goofball. (That’s Rum in my lap, purring away.)

Did you know that classic brown tabby Whiskey is still available for adoption? He is! He’s about 5 months old, very playful, and really likes other cats. He’s very shy at first, but if you give him a little time, he’ll come to you for petting and cuddling, purring the entire time. (If you’re looking for a twosome, he is great friends with his foster brother Fizz.) Email to inquire at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an application right here.

Reese loves that spiral tunnel – and is SUCH a floofy little goofball.

Reese says “I sees you, lady.”
I got word this morning that Reese IS still available and Forgotten Felines is accepting applications for her again – email them at INFO (at) FFHSV.ORG or fill out an application right here.

LMao at the half dangle. I love Rum’s little face while cracking out the moves. And Reverb really does come across like an old man, his little mouth and toothies are so cute.
That picture of Reese and Fizz is SO funny! Reese really is so beautiful, I’m surprised she hasn’t been snapped up. I’m so glad you’re not nearer to me, because I’d have adopted so many of your fosters. Reverb would definitely be on my lap, I’m a sucker for a cat with issues.
Ah, the many moves of Sir Rum. The last picture is the air dangle with half twist.
Wow, Rum has the most gorgeous eyes!
This is not kitten related, but I thought I’d ask if you’re expecting all that ice predicted for this weekend? No worries about power outages?
Hope and pray you don’t get as much of the bad weather as predicted.
Last night they were saying we’d probably get mostly snow, but this morning everything shifted north, so it looks like we’re in for ice. We are concerned about potential power outages, but we have a gas fireplace, so even if we lose power we’ll be okay for heat (my biggest concern.)
If we do lose power for a substantial amount of time, I look forward to getting to say “I told you we needed a generator,” to Fred. (We lost power for about 24 hours in the spring, and I tried to talk him into a generator, but got the “But we hardly ever lose power” response.)
I thought maybe Charlie heard of the potential ice storm. His position pretty much expressed how I feel about ice! I am south of ya’ll, in Cullman. Good luck, stay safe.
I suspect “rumdangle” is going to be a permanent part of the L&H lexicon after all this. LOL
Also, PSA for newer readers: Please check out the 2019 “Previously” post today for the introduction of one of my favorite foster families EVER on this blog (and considering how many wonderful litters Robyn has helped raise, that’s saying something!). Trust me, though–if you do not yet know the story of Charles and Caroline and their Half Pint kittens, it is not one to be missed!
