George is the Great Pyrenees dog who keeps our chickens safe from predators. He mostly does this by being big and spending his days sleeping near the chicken coop. He looks big and scary and has a deep bark, but he loves people and if someone stopped by to steal some chickens, he’d likely give them a hand, especially if they petted him and gave him food.
George has been with us since he was about 5 months old. He came to us along with his sister Gracie, who died unexpectedly in August 2015. You can see her page here.
