Oh, sweet Buttercup. The quietest of the Royals. Always curled up in a ball or flopped over one of her siblings, sleeping. Or racing up and down the stairs at full speed. Never anywhere in between. She doesn’t have a “medium”, it’s all go-go-go or dead stop.
She has her crazy moments.
I think she is just so beautiful. Her crisp, clean white whiskers against her glossy black fur. Oh, I could stare at her for hours.
Not a fan of the vacuum cleaner; not afraid of expressing it.
I would seriously have not thought she could get to this level of floof.
And the vacuum cleaner wasn’t even turned on yet!
“I know she’s going to turn that thing on, and then I’m going to simply explode.”
“Or take a nap. One or the other.”

PAWS UP, Y’ALL!
“Is it up? It’s up, right? I know it’s there, I’m just afraid to look.”
Ember examines her paw to make sure it’s up, y’all correctly.
“They’re up! They’re up!”
“See, Mama? They’re up!”
I’m starting to think that Puff’s paws are in a permanent state of up.

Something about having her people in the back yard with her makes Sheriff Mama just SO happy.
She throws herself down, rolls around, and a moment later she’s up patrolling the yard again.

i cannot stand how stinking cute the dragons are. Puff absolutely KILLS ME. and Ruth is the most beautiful kitten ever. And ember is so wee and dopey and sweet…. i want to eat them up. with milk and strawberries. yum.

Oh I know, that little face is killing me DEAD!
As I know you love us dreaming of you all, I totally had to tell you about mine. You and Fred were down visiting me in Florida and we found that the neighbors had moved and left a mama cat and a batch of kittens. We went over to their yard and you sat down by a drain pipe. Soon, the kittens came out and were climbing all over you for cuddles. Fred came over and claimed he could do better than that and sat down beside you. He kind of started randomly talking in a sing-song baby voice and more kittens came out from around the house. Then, a litter of baby foxes came out from the drain pipe to be snuggled by Fred. When I looked around, there were hundreds of animals just sitting a staring at the two of you, waiting for their turn to be snuggled. It was like watching a Disney princess in the forest!

This is a great post !!! I really needed this today !!! I am doing some work in a school library for a few weeks and my routine is off. I’m having to wait until late evening for my daily kitty fix. Serious withdrawal symptoms throughout the day. At least I can end my day with your posts. Now I am off to DCEP for my dose of giggles!!
