The Fools are 3 weeks old! Here are their comparison pictures – 3 days old, and 3 weeks old.

This was probably the last week I’ll be able to get pictures of them where I’m holding them in one hand and taking the picture with the other. They’re getting to be – I believe the official term is “chunky monkeys.” Especially Rickles! I weighed them yesterday, and you can see their weights at the bottom of their page, here. If you don’t want to go look, I can sum it up thusly: Rickles is the largest at 14.5 ounces, and Louis is the tiniest at 9.7 ounces.

Skelton and Gilda are still pretty unsure of life outside the crate, and so while everyone else will pile out and gather around me (and play-fight with each other), those two stay in the crate and wander around. I take them out and cuddle them, which they seem to like, but as soon as I put them down, they go right back into the crate. I know they’ll eventually come around and decide that there’s cool stuff outside the crate.

Videos! The theme for today is “cleanliness.” In the first, Lucy and Louis work together to keep Louis clean.

Sheriff Kara sure does like to throw herself on the ground and roll around when you talk to her. Honestly, I expect a little more dignity from our law enforcement officials.

These babies… All af them look so grown-up (NOT!) and wall-eyed (YES!) 🙂 And they keep getting more and more cute with every single day passing. Can you imagine how cute they are gonna be next week or two? I just can’t 🙂
That is one skeptical batch of kittens you have there. And I loved all 28 seconds of the toe cleaning video. I’m thinking that will all those long, slender toes, they’ll either be getting into everything (to me, long toes = extra dexterity) or start begging for piano lessons.
I’ll walk into the room, and they’ll all be stuck to the walls, like sticky frogs!
Oh crap. There goes my wallet. If Gilda gave me the *plink plink* “really, I hate to be a bother, but a snack would be nice” *plink plink* look she has in her sitting picture above, I’d be broke in no time flat. Her little white booties are to die for.
They all look like the background dancers in a hip-hop group in their 3-week old shots.

Louis has a flavor.
I look at each of the pictures and think they are all the cutest, but then get to Shecky and squeal. He is an absolute angel looking kitten!

So have they buddied up with a favorite sibling? It seemes like Rosanne and Louis are in shots together a lot but that could just be coincidence. I think perhaps there is a Vice sting going on and Sheriff Mama Kara is working undercover and thus the rolling around and lack of dignity.
In regards to the posting of 28-second videos, I have but one thing to say: MOAR
Poor Louis in his 3 week old picture….he’s all “HALP”. mom says she doesn’t know how you get anything done during the day….she sat in the bathroom last night and just watch the kittens here sleep. 🙂

I cannot believe how adorable these monkeys are. We keep saying every litter is the cuties eva! but they may truly be the cutest things in Alabama.
Every time I think we’ve reached the pinnacle of cuteness, the next litter raises the bar!

As for Kara, rumor has it she’s infiltrated the all-powerful Catnip Cartel. Or she’s having her very own Stoned Soul Picnic.
I think she could use a little catnip – she tends toward being high-strung!
The grown up faces and personalities are coming out !!!! It really is amazing to watch them progress everyday !!!
I am very jealous of you Robyn to get to see this up close and personal 🙂 I am also very grateful that the world has a wonderful person like you that takes in these mamas and kittens so that the world can get to know them and they get to go wonderful families that will cherish them forever !!
So this is like my 50th time to cruise by today’s post, and I just noticed that in the comparison pictures, Belushi is the only one not looking worried. In fact, he’s got this relaxed expression suggesting he’s in complete control of the situation. And he’s extending his paw out, like….like “You may kiss my ring” or “Come closer, child, so I might see you better” or “You, servant lady. Put that ridiculous camera down, find me the best sunbeam, and place me there immediately.”
They were all much more relaxed in their 3-week pictures than they were in their 3-day pictures, for sure. Belushi wasn’t worried in the least, he was just “Whatever, lady.”
We didn’t realize that by three weeks the kittens were cleaning themselves, or starting to! That’s adorable.
There has been a LOT of toe cleaning in the last few days!
Ro definitely has become .. um.. healthy.. hasn’t she? 🙂
