Dennis, regarding me from the hallway.

Ferdinand, checking out the view (this is from before he went off to Petsmart last week, obviously.)

Mariette can’t believe you just said that.

Dennis, still watching from the hallway.

“Where’d Orlando go? I swear he was just here!” (If you look at the condo at the top, you’ll see Orlando peeking out.)

“He just, like, DISAPPEARED.”

Orlando in the front, and Maria demonstrating the Ears of Annoyance.

Then Mariette pops up from out of nowhere to see just what I think I’m doing.

“There! Behind you! A serial killer! Or possibly nothing at all! It’s hard to say!”

Challenger’s House Cats.

This picture cracks me up. It looks like s/he is yelling “Hey, guys! Come get yer picture taken!”

Same cat, looking gorgeous (I’m not sure which cat this is.)

Kitties in the cat trees. Apparently it’s nappin’ time.

Sungold, keeping an eye on his brudder.

“Why. I. NEVER!”

Giles (I think), keeping an eye on me.

Possibly Serenity. Such a sweet girl!

Tuffy!

Tuffy and the sun.

Pretty sure this is Ringer, I see the half tail.

More tomorrow!

The beautiful Tom Cullen, atop the cat tree.

Is Dennis as aloof as he appears to be?

You know, after seeing Leia and Buttercup, I would love to see what Aslan looks like now…

The black shelter kitty is GORGEOUS!

This is a good question for Friday!

Oh, I would love to see what Aslan looks like now, too.

Or is ne not as aggressive as the others so he gets “pushed out of the picture”… so to speak…

Oooooh, how I love those black kitties 🙂
That shelter cat is absolutely gorgeous. Even missing teeth, he/she is gorgeous.

    I’m loving Tuffy’s front waddle.. 🙂

Dennis does have a very expressive face doesn’t he

Dennis seems to have this royal ‘tude. “We are not amused” and “let me lounge on the royal bed whilst you monkees dance’ seem to be his general reactions.

Orlando’s ears, they’re twice as wide is his body!

Tuffy seriously needs a hug. I wish that I could give them one.

BTW, do I want to know what happened to Ringer’s tail?

I don’t actually know what happened to Ringer’s tail – I’m assuming he was born that way.

I can’t help it.. I still think Vampires when I hear Tom Cullen’s full name! I know I know, that’s not what it’s from! But you have to admit.. he does have the fangs for it! MOL Love me some Tommy! (Does he sparkle in the sun? hee hee)

Fred was making an appointment for him once, and the receptionist at the vet got all excited and asked if he was a Twilight fan. HA.

(Tommy does sparkle in the sun, though! He’s got that thick, glossy fur. 🙂 )

Gotta agree with everyone else: that black shelter cat is beautiful! And of course, so is Tom Cullen — he who is beloved by all!

    How are you feeling, Robyn?

    1. Robyn says:
      March 26, 2014 at 11:45 am

I am feeling 100% fine, thank you. 🙂 It’s like it never happened!

I am in need, again, of some cat advice. My 21 year old ancient kitty has been having eye problems since December, nothing horrible but nothing that was fully cured by antibiotics. Vet diagnosed her with Eosinophilic Keratitis (corneal inflammation) and the treatment held that in check, until the same treatment left her open to infection (steroid), related to the dormant herpes virus.
She saw a specialist last week, he concurred & noted a small corneal ulcer, and she’s on 3 different eye ointments now – antibiotic, immuno modulator, and anti-viral (starts tomorrow). BUT her eye doesn’t seem to be getting better. The third eyelid is constantly over the eye.
What experience do you all have with this? What can I do to make her more comfortable? I tried cool washcloths, and they do seem to help for a little while.
I’m called the specialist to see if we need to come in sooner than the 2 week checkup, but in the meantime I’m freaking out that she’ll need to lose the eye. She’s too old for surgery!

I don’t have any experience with this, Rebecca (I would have suggested calling the specialist, but you’ve done that!), but I’ll post this in Friday’s post, and we’ll see if anyone has anything to suggest!

late reply but: thank you! she’s even on a form of morphine now, we’re hoping that will clear things up.
