Wednesday night/ Thursday morning I had a very long and involved dream that Terry had been adopted. I woke up once or twice and went right back into the dream. In the dream, I even called Susan, the shelter manager, and said (I kid you not) “Did Terry really get adopted, or did I dream it?”
When I woke up, I was disappointed to realize that it was, indeed, a dream.
Well, I MUST BE PSYCHIC, because guess who got adopted last night!!!!
Not only did he get adopted, he got adopted alongside another Challenger’s House kitten, Treat, so he’ll have a little brother to play with.
I can’t tell you how relieved I am that all of the True Blood kittens now have loving homes.
It’s a Christmas miracle!
I can tell you that it’s probably a good thing he was adopted. Fred and I had decided that if he was still unadopted when it was time for the Wonkas and Cookies to go to the adoption center, we’d bring him home to give him a break from the cage.
And I’m pretty sure he would have ended up here permanently.
It is truly amazing that I ever manage to get anything done around here. (Pardon the weird angle of the picture. Fred took it, and I’m not sure what he was attempting to do.)

Hydrox had better things to do, and abandoned his sisters, who sat and looked grumpy for a little while before going back to sleep.
The Cookies are going to be spayed and neutered on Monday!

Yay for Terry! I have to admit though, I thought that his not being adopted might be a sign that he was meant to be with you. Since I know you especially had a soft spot for Terry the Snuggler. I’m glad he found a good home and has a brother!
Angie: The Wonkas got the snip the day after they came up FIV negative! We’re just waiting ’til there’s room at the adoption center. I wouldn’t be too surprised if the Wonkas and the Cookies go within days of each other. (WAHHHHHH!)
Lisa: I was sort of thinking it was a sign, too! 🙂 (Fred is relieved to find out it was NOT a sign, just a matter of waiting ’til the right people came along and fell in love with Terry!)
Oh my goodness, I am SO relieved that Terry got adopted…whew…so so so happy for the little guy 🙂 Doing my little “happy dance” right now 🙂

I’m so happy and relieved that Terry’s been adopted. Every time you talked about him, I tried to figure out how I could convince one of my Alabama friends to adopt him. The fact that all the folks I know there are confirmed dog people made it more challenging – so I’m so glad Terry has found a home with a family who really wanted a cat!
Awww!!! So HAPPY for Terry that he’s got a good home now! I think Bill is also happy too! He mirped when I told him his brother is sleeping in his new home tonight! YAY!!!

YAY YAY YAY for Terry! It’s such good news that all those cuties got homes in time for Christmas.
And I have no idea how you work with all those kitties in front of you like that. Moo does it every single time I’m on the computer, but he’s just one cow-cat… not a whole cuddlepile of kittens! So cute. And distracting. 🙂
Ah, Terry. Your prophetic dream is yet more evidence of how in tune you are with these very lucky kitties. You and Fred are angels from heaven.

Hooray for Terry & Treat! It was nice to see Terry’s mug again last week but it’s even better to know he’s found a home!
The photo of you trying to type with an armful of kittens is priceless. I recently had to give in to my cats’ insistence on sleeping on piles of paper etc on my desk and put a cat bed up there.
Robyn, got any photos of the cookies and wonkas together? I think they would be both gorgeous and funny. well done to all the true bloods – did you get any Sammy update photos since his adoption?
YEAH for sweet little Terry! I am very happy for him!!! Have you gotten any updates on Hoyt? He is the one I have a soft spot for…however, Terry was right there too..he really turned out lovely…oh and Bill…and …. 🙂
My kitty lays between my arms when I am at the computer also. It is amazing what they can make the computer do when they lean agains the keyboard! Ha!!
Your Daily Cute: It helps that they’re still all relatively small. If I had four full-sized cats in front of me, I’m sure there’s no way I’d be able to reach around them!
