Pretty, pretty Tricki.

Tricki with ‘tude.

Toto, having Deep Thoughts.

Have I mentioned how much I love that John Smith’s eyes match his fur?

Bunnie would like to know why I’m wayyyyyy over here when she’s requiring some pettin’.

“You gonna sit down and pet us, lady, or what?”

“Ooh! She has a free hand that could be pettin’ ME.”

Toto, atop the scratcher. He sure does like to stand up there.

“Only when I’m not being petted, lady. Or licking your hands.”

Little poser.

And the second after I took this picture, Toto landed on John Smith, who didn’t take kindly to being treated like a gymnastic equipment, and a half-hearted slapping match ensued.

I am actually taking Toto and Bunnie to Petsmart this morning instead of waiting until Friday morning. There are adoption hours tonight, and it actually works out better with my schedule (I have errands to run in that direction), so off they go! Tricki and John Smith will be here ’til room opens up for them, too – who knows when that will be? We’ll see!

If Livia, Tony, Melfi, Bunnie and Toto could please get themselves adopted this weekend, that would be great! (It’s good to dream big, right?)

I just love it so very much when cats sit there with the end of their tongue sticking out, all “Wha? Wha tho funny? Why you laughin’?”

  1. Sorry if I saw this link here first, but could you ever consider getting some of these for your house?!?

  2. Seems like 2007 Robyn also wasn’t sure how long Moonman would stick around LOL

Has nobody else noticed that Robyn keeps referring to John Smith as John Snow? It seems totally normal at first, and then it triggers some sort of mind block where I can’t remember his real name ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I pointed that out myself back when I first brought these guys home, and instructed y’all to let me know if I’d done it, so I could fix it. ๐Ÿ™‚

And now it’s fixed. At least in THIS post!

      • I’m sorta bummed he’s called John Smith because that’s one of the possible names for a Doctor Who theme.

You need to start watching Doctor Who so you can get hooked and name a litter after the show!

  3. I’m gonna miss seeing Bunnie and Toto, but I hope it means they find their forever folks soon.

In my humble opinion, that first picture of Toto suggests more of a Touch of the Loon rather than Deep Thoughts. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Paws crossed that all 4 get adopted super quick!

Bless 2007 Robyn. How naive she was! And the fact that there are still more to come! ๐Ÿ™‚

    TOTO IS GORGEOUS!

  5. good luck kitts!!! we love that long lanky stage of kitten ๐Ÿ™‚

as for the tongue, our girl Licorice has taken to leaving the tip of her tongue out as well for all to be amused by

  6. Had to snort about Newt too. Hey, why not live the life of Riley as an indoor cat? If I come back in another life thatโ€™s what I want. To be a pampered house cat.

Iโ€™m hoping the fosters get snapped up quickly. Toto and Tricki are so gorgeous and slinky. Bunnieโ€™s colors are just so unique and John Smith is SUCH a sweetie. Iโ€™m keeping my fingers crossed!!

  7. From today’s archive link from 2007: “Every time we go to Smallville and [Newt]โ€™s hanging out on the front porch, he runs for the front door. If we leave it open for longer than a few seconds, he moseys on in and wanders around the house, meowing in his high-pitched big-baby squeak.”

Do you have any video of Newt’s so-called “big-baby squeak”? I always love it when I get to hear the voices of the permanent residents and fosters! Even if it’s like Stinkerbelle’s screech-o’-doom from a few days back. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I actually don’t! If I manage to get him talking, I’ll make sure to post it, but most of the time he’s pretty quiet. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Any new babies in sight? :3
Of course it’s great if there are no kittens in need of fostering! But my need for my daily fix of kittens is unrelenting.

    • Not yet – first we need to wait for room at Petsmart for John Smith and Tricki, and then we’ll see! I’m really missing having that second foster room right about now, let me tell you!

  9. I always say that tuxies and torties are my favorites, but I am madly in love with John Smith! It’s a good thing I don’t live anyway near you….
