PLEASE NOTE: My internet is being an absolute and complete nightmare (business as usual, Spectrum. Thanks for never worrying about providing even slightly decent service on a consistent basis.) For someone like me, who does 99% of this blogging stuff on a desktop computer (yes, am old, har de har), it’s A REAL HASSLE. We have a technician coming Sunday, but will service be restored before then? ONE HAS NO IDEA.
Ergo, if there’s no post here tomorrow, please don’t be concerned. It’s not you, it’s not me, it’s SPECTRUM. I cannot continue using my phone as a hotspot, so I’ll be back when I can. I’ll post on social media as I can, but don’t get your heart set on anything ’til Monday. (But we can hope, right?)
Trying to get a lineup shot these days is NOT easy. Pete(Zephyr) has no interest in all that, and doesn’t hesitate to jump down from the desk.
I picked him up and put him back up there, and then Daphne jumped down.

Then Daphne said “SEEYA!” leaving Pandora, Smitty(Zeus), and Calliope behind.
I shoveled everyone back up there, and they stayed long enough for this okay-enough shot, where you can see everyone’s face at least, even if they aren’t lined up.

Then Daphne and Smitty(Zeus) had places to be, and I got a nice shot of Pete(Zephyr), Calliope and Pandora.

Magoo says “Don’t mind if I do!” (Calliope was downstairs with her own plate of canned food, eating in peace, so she didn’t know that Magoo was upstairs all up in her kittens’ breakfast business.)

Zephyr and Zeus were adopted… by us! They’ve officially gone from fosters to permanent residents (Magoo needed a friend!)
Zephyr is now Pete, and Zeus is Smitty. Welcome home, boys!

There’s apparently NOTHING more fun than an upside-down basket! (This video was taken on Saturday before Cassandra was adopted, so you’ll see her in the video.)

I got so fed up with Spectrum outages that I gave up and went with Starlink (pretty much my only other option). More expensive but no outages, and when the power goes out I still have internet thanks to my generator. With Spectrum there was no internet even with power from my generator.
