11-27-25 Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!
(Or Happy Thursday. Whichever you prefer!)

From these little turkeys…

ChaCha (copious amounts of Churu were involved in the making of this picture. She is thankful for Churu – and so am I!)

Khal Drogo (who cannot believe the audacity. He is thankful that hat was only on his head for 30 seconds.)

And Alice, who barely woke up when I put the hat on her. If a chicken stuffed inside a duck which is stuffed inside a turkey is a TurDucKen, then an Alice stuffed inside a turkey (hat) which is stuffed inside a Christmas tree bed is obviously a MoTurkMas. (Her nickname being “Mo,” if you didn’t pick that up.)

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

Flamenco’s all “Don’t look, Ethel!”

ChaCha’s all “They’ll never find me in here!”

I have titled this video “Jumping on Mama,” and with a mysterious title like that, I bet you’ll never in a million years guess what happens in it.

Sashay still fits nicely in that pink Adirondack chair, if you were curious.

I’m tossing ping pong balls for the kittens and they’re game, even though they’re not entirely sure what’s going on.

If you’ve ever wanted side-by-side closeup shots of the boys and the girls, here you go. That’s Mambo on the left (blue collar) with Tango, and Sashay on the left with Flamenco. The biggest differences I see with the boys is their eye color – Tango’s eyes are a much lighter color. If I can’t see their eyes or their collars, though, I have a hard time telling who I’m looking at. With the girls, on the other hand, I’ve always been able to tell them apart. Sashay has an orange stripe down her nose and that little dab of pink above her nose. Flamenco’s nose is much darker. There’s also a difference in the color of their eyes, but it’s not as noticeable as it is with the boys.

Mambo says “That lady is right, I AM darn good-looking!”

Good night innernets. (Flamenco)

Happy Thanksgiving. Idk if it’s all the same brother. I can’t see the collars. But is mambo the one doing what you’ve named the flippity flop? And he also the one doing the flippity flop in the basket?

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all your loving care for hundreds of Mama cats and their kittens (and at least one Daddy cat!) while they wait for their people to show up. Also the floppity fish fighter is hilarious-what a sweet little goof!

She’s doing pretty good! She’s slowing down a bit, but otherwise she’s livin’ the life she wants to. 🙂

LOVE your three little turkeys (Khal has SOME THOUGHTS, indeed). As for “MoTurkMas”… genius.

Echoing several previous comments, I am also thankful for Love and Hisses!
