Over the weekend, the Tiny Dancers visited (VERY briefly) the Brunch Bunch.

Waffle was the head of the greeting committee. He sniffed Flamenco.

Maple came over to sniff at Tango. Tango put on his floof suit and stared at her.

Then she hissed at him and he hissed back.
Maple wanted NO part of this nonsense, and retreated to the bottom of the cat tree to glare at the interlopers.

Tango and Waffle stared at each other.

Flamenco and Sashay were busily sniffing everything, when Mocha came over to sniff them.
I don’t think Flamenco and Sashay even noticed Mocha (who went to hide behind the couch and keep an eye on the kittens from there), but they certainly noticed Waffle.

Mambo spotted Mocha behind the couch and hissed at her.

What a lovely floof suit you have, Mambo.

Tango and Mambo sniffed around a bit more, but seemed fairly overwhelmed, so the kittens went back downstairs to rejoin their mama.
I was really surprised that Maple wanted NOTHING to do with the kittens (I thought she’d be the most interested, but NOPE.) Waffle was kind of interested, but very hissy (and didn’t want those kittens NEAR him.) Mocha was interested, but a little put off by the floof suits and the hissing. Muffin? Well, Muffin saw me coming up the stairs with the carrier and noped off to hide under my bed. (I think it was more the carrier than the kittens she was hiding from, but in any case that’s why she’s not in any of these pictures.)

It was warm and sunny over the weekend, and Alice appreciated it.

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) this weekend.

Tango’s lookin’ good in the pink Adirondack. (Still likes standing up in it, too.)

The kittens are crazypantsing it up. (To be fair, they are ALWAYS crazypantsing it up!)

Muffin has a smile. (She was talking to the feather teaser)
Maple says that business at the Biscuit Shack is pretty slow.
Waffle is Da BAYbee.
And Mocha is Da Queen.

Mambo shows off his moves, and the kittens are still enjoying that spiral tunnel QUITE a bit. (That particular tunnel came from the quarterly Pusheen Cat Kit box, but you can find spiral tunnels in Petsmart, Petco and Chewy as well as plenty of other online locations.)

It’s a ChaCha-Sashay pie (my favorite!) with just a hint of the ol’ razzle dazzle.

These kittens are ALWAYS on the move (except when they’re sound asleep.) That’s Sashay in mid-run and Flamenco behind her.

Good night innernets. (Flamenco & Tango)

Mocha pie! (My favorite!) I finally got a good shot of her beautiful eyes. The Brunch Bunch has such gorgeous eyes.
Maple and the fall colors.
Waffle hangs out on that cabinet at the top of the stairs so no one comes upstairs without being greeted by him. (Tips in the form of petting are allowed.)
Muffin (re?)discovered the top of that cat tree and found it comfy. (I can’t remember if we had that tree when I was fostering her, or if it’s new to her. In any case – she likes it!)

Former fosters Phoenix (left; fostered in 2017) and Amber (Ambercup, 2015) are just the SWEETEST pair! (Thanks, Debra!)

Mambo is a WILD ONE. He gets his butt kicked by ChaCha, and keeps going back for more!

ChaCha needs a kiss, don’t you think? (She got about a million after I took this pic.)

The kittens certainly have a lot of FUN with each other. And I swear, if I had just a FRACTION of their energy!

Sashay (left) says to Flamenco “How DARE you. Put DOWN that slappin’ paw, or you’re gonna be sorry!”

Mambo, Flamenco, Tango and Sashay were all sleeping until I rushed over to take this picture of them, and then they were all wide awake and “What? What’s going on, lady?!”

Good night innernets. (Tango (front) and Mambo)

Former fosters Lincoln (gray and white) and Lillian (formerly Lily – all gray) are THREE YEARS OLD today. Happy birthday, babies! (Can’t believe they’re already three!) Melinda says: “I love them so much. Lincoln is beautiful and seriously the sweetest boy. My little buddy who loves his cat tv. Lillian is truly a pretty little princess. Any locked door or cabinet is to her just a challenge to get opened. She is often successful. So glad they are part of Indiana and my life.” (Thanks, Melinda!)
You can see Lincoln and Lillian and their sweet big brother Indiana on Facebook at Adventures with Indiana, Lincoln, and Lillian

That is one OVERSTUFFED pie crust! (Kitten pie – my favorite!)

The kittens are such BUSY little things – running here, running there, jumping at and over each other. They crack me up!

All four of the Brunch Bunch are in this picture – some are easier to spot than others, though!

Flamenco and the trackball toy, Flamenco and her tail. The girl certainly knows how to entertain herself.

Former fosters! Bonnie says: “Jethro (Tull) and TC (Thunderclap Newman) prefer our Ikea storage cubes over their cozy heated beds. TC is in charge of knocking the lids off—Jethro takes advantage of his brother’s hard work.” (Thanks, Bonnie!) We fostered Jethro and TC in 2014!

ChaCha says “Shouldn’t these kittens be going away to college SOON?” They are so RUDE to their mama.

Good night innernets. (Sashay & Tango)
