Last night I got home from Pennsylvania (where you may not have realized I was, since I didn’t mention it. I went up there for a quick visit with my friend Nance.) I turned on my desktop and found out that it was completely dead – Fred couldn’t save it, and thus I am getting a new computer!
Today, I thank god for (1) Netbooks (which is what I’m typing this on), (2) Amazon Prime (which I’ve had since it was created) and (3) Carbonite, which will hopefully painlessly restore all my files! Of course, with the number of pictures that need to restore, it’ll take ’til Christmas!
So for today, I show you animal pics from Pennsylvania, a few of my kitty pics, a picture of me looking smug, and tomorrow, the recap of the trip, okay? Okay.

If my whole system wasn’t backed up on Carbonite, I would be losing my MIND. But the computer I was on was just an old one we had kicking around when the one I was using previous to that needed to be replaced, so I figured it was only a matter of time. But now I get a shiny new computer (and can do just about everything I need to do on my netbook in the meantine!), so it’s all good. 🙂
Yay for a new pc!! I’d look happy too if I was getting one! And that’s what you look – happy!

I know you enjoyed your visit. I made a trip to Texas earlier this year to see a friend I hadn’t seen in ages. Glad you didn’t have to do without animals while gone! They are a good lookin’ bunch.

New computers are good! Must go and learn about this Carbonite thingy, though. And Amazon whatsit? What does that do? I’ll go learn about that, too. Waldo is a “meezer”, yeah?
