Last night I got home from Pennsylvania (where you may not have realized I was, since I didn’t mention it. I went up there for a quick visit with my friend Nance.) I turned on my desktop and found out that it was completely dead – Fred couldn’t save it, and thus I am getting a new computer!

Today, I thank god for (1) Netbooks (which is what I’m typing this on), (2) Amazon Prime (which I’ve had since it was created) and (3) Carbonite, which will hopefully painlessly restore all my files! Of course, with the number of pictures that need to restore, it’ll take ’til Christmas!

So for today, I show you animal pics from Pennsylvania, a few of my kitty pics, a picture of me looking smug, and tomorrow, the recap of the trip, okay? Okay.

First, me looking smug. Don’t you want to slap me? You know you love me and my taking-pictures-of-myself-in-the-Starbucks-bathroom self.

Didn’t she grow up gorgeous?

(I only got the one picture of Felina this time around. She’s such a spoiled little brat, but I love her so!)

Waldo:

  1. Wow, Robyn, you’re taking that pretty well. Hope the new machine loves your photos and prose as much as your readers do!

    • If my whole system wasn’t backed up on Carbonite, I would be losing my MIND. But the computer I was on was just an old one we had kicking around when the one I was using previous to that needed to be replaced, so I figured it was only a matter of time. But now I get a shiny new computer (and can do just about everything I need to do on my netbook in the meantine!), so it’s all good. 🙂

  2. Yay for a new pc!! I’d look happy too if I was getting one! And that’s what you look – happy!

These kitties and woofies are just adorable! Take care

  3. All the pictures are just wonderful! Thank you.
Sorry to hear about your PC. Always a lovely source of stress.
    Awwww….Maddy….

  4. Hey!! who is the beatuful girl in the first photo???? and what have you done with Robyn?? Just kidding, hope you had a great time with Nance.

  5. I know you enjoyed your visit. I made a trip to Texas earlier this year to see a friend I hadn’t seen in ages. Glad you didn’t have to do without animals while gone! They are a good lookin’ bunch.

  6. Maddy is undergoing Hulk metamorphosis in the first picture of her all grown up. Watch out!

Oooo, getting a new PC is always fun. The speed, the new OS, the storage.

  7. That’s Luke & Jakey, right? Were they telling secrets and didn’t want you to hear? LOL.
New computers are good! Must go and learn about this Carbonite thingy, though. And Amazon whatsit? What does that do? I’ll go learn about that, too. Waldo is a “meezer”, yeah? And that Miss Sadie sure is cute…and of course lovely Maddy and Julie and crazy looking Felina. It’s good to get away. Or so I hear…
