Teresa came over for auction organizing day yesterday. Once everything is organized, I pile everything into the dining room and shut the doors so that the cats won’t mess with anything (there’s a lot of potent catnip stuff in that pile of auction goodies!). Since ChaCha and the kittens were in there, I needed to move them! So I did.
Until auction packing is over later today – usually around late afternoon – they’ll be occupying Fred’s bathroom and bedroom.
After I moved them, the kittens didn’t miss a beat. They sniffed every inch of the room.
They checked out the new view from their cat tree.
ChaCha said “This is very interesting!”
Sashay found the bed quite comfy.
And later, all four kittens curled up for a nap on the bed.

The kittens are having a harrrrd time waking up this morning. (Same, kittens!)
This is what their eyes look like these days (they’ll be 8 weeks old tomorrow.) The instant I suggested Tango’s eyes might stay blue, they turned about half green. So pretty!

ChaCha’s lookin’ for a fight, and she knows just the kittens to go after. (The ones that are closest, of course.)
(Mocha, Waffle, Maple and Muffin are not available for adoption; we are cat sitting while their people are out of town.)
Mocha checks to see if I’m hiding any Churu. Waffle really likes the top of that little cat tree in my office. And Maple and Muffin join me for nap time!

Waffle, Maple (former foster Dillydally), Muffin (former foster Ouiser) and Mocha are with us while their people are out of town. Naturally they get their Churu time! (I say in the video that Fred’s playing a game downstairs, but apparently he was actually watching a movie – the Goonies, to be exact.)
ChaCha asks “You got any Churu, lady? I haven’t had Churu in one million years.” (Nice blop of Churu on your nose, ChaCha.)

I was perusing your old posts and came across the unfortunate downfall of Senator Boogers (2005). Love it!
What happened to that closeted storyteller? Love the way you had told a story with some of the pics you took. You still do it, albeit they are now much shorter stories. You are such a funny gal; Fred must be jealous of your writing prowess.
Unfortunately, he got out of the back yard (this was before we had the cat fence we have now – we were using an electric fence that worked with collars that would zap them if they got too close) and something – we suspect a passing dog – got hold of him. I found him in the yard, already gone. He was the BEST (and also kind of a jerk, which is probably why I loved him so much.)
There’s something llama-esque about Maple in that “Maple’s cute little nose freckles…” picture and it’s cracking me up!
I can totally see that!
