Eyelips: the True Blood 6 were born with Eyelid Agenesis in their upper eyelids (some kittens had it worse than others), which means that their upper eyelids did not form correctly. This would have ultimately caused damage to their eyes. To fix this condition, the vet removed skin from their lips to create eyelid where before there was none. Fred coined the descriptive word “eyelips.” Other words used to describe their eyelids-formed-from-lips: liplids and liplashes (by vet techs).
