The foster room is empty no longer! Meet #ReginaPhalange, a gorgeous, friendly girl who looks a lot like our #JoeBob. Doesn’t she have pretty eyes? (Stay tuned, more pictures later!).

For those who asked, #ReginaPhalange is, indeed, the name Phoebe used on Friends. #ReginaPhalange has the normal number of toes, see? They are long and elegant. Regina Phalange just happens to be a name that I love (I am a huge Friends fan) and I decided it was time to use it. Our #ReginaPhalange is definitely, no doubt, 100% NOT pregnant. I had hoped to get a pregnant mama in my foster room this year (and to get to see kittenbirth in action), but I guess it’s not in the cards. That’s okay, because this skinny girl needs fattening up and lots of love and attention, and she’ll get it here!
Okay, I’ve teased you long enough – #ReginaPhalange is definitely not pregnant for the simple reason that she just had kittens last Tuesday evening! Babies’ first field trip. #ReginaPhalange’s goopy eye wasn’t getting better and she needed her combo test, so I packed them all up and took them to the vet. Combo test was negative (yay!) and no visible damage to the eye, so we’re sticking to ointment and starting her on an antibiotic, hopefully it’ll help. The kittens were determined to be the cutest babies ever, of course. Mom was watchful but calm and kittens slept the entire time.
