Sebastian is now in the foster room with the big kittens all the time, and it’s going great. When he needs some quiet time he retreats to his crate – but I’ve only seen him in there a few times recently. He’s been playing – by himself and with the others – and continues to eat solid food. In fact, if I’m not fast enough with the canned food, he’ll go over and eat some kibble while he’s waiting. I see him tussling/playing with the other kittens pretty frequently, and he’s even climbed up onto the couch on his own (and can get back down, too!) Our tiny baby kitten is growing up – funny how that works, right?

So, basically – if you were worried about how Sebastian is doing in the room full of bigger-than-him kittens, you shouldn’t. He’s doing great!

The kittens got to meet Uncle Rocco, and they were not impressed. The kitten crying is Sebastian, who thought I might be hiding a bottle from him. And the growler – both times! – is Benji. I am blown away that such a laid back kitten has that kind of reaction! After Rocco left the room, Benji, Nigel and Monty floofed and arched at each other – meanwhile, the girls (and Sebastian) were perfectly fine, playing.
This is going to be Monty’s author photo when his memoir “Surviving the Great Starvation of May – June 2025 (How I Managed on Only Three Meals a Day)” comes out. Such a distinguished gentleman.

Sebastian and Margarita. (Or to use their nicknames: Bash & Mousie.) Please don’t start with the “ShE’S BeInG ToO RoUgH WiTh hIm” – 98.6% of the time, he starts these tussles. She’s helping to teach him his manners (and he always ALWAYS comes back for more.)
Nigel LOVES to burrow under blankets and then pop his head out to see what’s going on.
