I put this (empty) bucket down and turned to do something, and just that quickly, Sungold had settled in.
Mr. Stripey was all “Hey! Move over! There’s plenty of room in there for both of us!”
“Just…a little…more…room…”
“I don’t believe this works for me, thanks.”
I’m pretty sure it was Mr. Stripey’s plan to have that bucket to himself all along. He’s an evil genius!
Sungold stomped off to the cat tree to pout.
As an aside, that cat tree is the same cat tree that used to be in the guest bedroom downstairs, which the ‘Maters climbed all over as kittens. That doesn’t mean they remember it… but they might! They certainly love to climb all over it and hang out on the platforms.
Sometimes, in the back yard, Sheriff Kara starts running around like her butt is on fire. And sometimes Newt gets all excited and chases her.
Then she gets tired of the game and runs inside to hang out on the dryer, and Newt pouts because he thought they were havin’ FUN.
