The Foundlings

The Foundlings joined us on January 20, 2025. They’d been with Forgotten Felines since they were all little, but (obviously) hadn’t been adopted yet. They are…

Helix (boy) and Spiral (girl), Ragdoll mixes. Spiral has white on her face, Helix has a stripey face. They’re brother and sister, and a bonded pair. Date of birth: June 25, 2024.

Paper Clip (silver tabby and white), Stapler (black and white tuxie), and Posty (gray and white tuxie). They’re all girls; they had a brother named Highlighter, who has already been adopted. Date of birth: May 20, 2024.

And singletons Alley Oop (tortie point snowshoe mix) and Andi (gray and white). They’re both girls – Andi has just the tiniest bit of a tail, and Alley Oop has a tail 2-3 inches long. They were both born that way. Their estimated date of birth is June 5, 2024, but they are not related.

Most of the kittens were found abandoned or stray, so I’m calling this litter the Foundlings.

When they came to me, they all had upper respiratory infections, except for Andi. So I immediately started them on medication, and they’re slowly getting better. They are a very sweet bunch of kittens, and hopefully they’ll be adopted from here once they’re feeling better; otherwise they’ll head off to Petsmart eventually. Andi and Alley Oop are a bit shy, but after a few days they decided that the strange humans aren’t so bad, and they love to be petted. Stapler is EXTREMELY friendly and very much a lapcat. Her sisters Posty and Paper Clip are also very friendly, and I have ended up with all three in my lap more than once. Helix and Spiral are super sweet and friendly – he, especially, loves a good cuddle. All 7 kittens are very playful.

(All kittens came to me pre-named. If you hate the names, that’s fine. You could always go right ahead and apply to adopt them and change their names to something you like better!)

February 8, 2025: Helix (now Cedric) and Spiral (now Luna) were adopted (together!) and have moved a few hours south of us. They join a family that has three kitties to play and be friends with!
February 8, 2025: Alley Oop was adopted and is now a resident of Tennessee, where she has one kitty sibling to play with!
February 18, 2025: Andi was adopted locally. She joins a family that includes a kitty sister named Josie, who looks exactly like Andi. Andi’s new name is Jolie.
March 13, 2025: Posty and Paper Clip were adopted (together!) locally. Posty is now Rhya, and Paper Clip is Calypso, and they are the only kitties (and animals) in their new home!
April 6, 2025: Stapler was adopted and has moved to Washington State, where she has a couple of kitty siblings to play with!
