Margarita’s all “Watchin’ you, lady.”
That’s a face that needs a kiss.
They may not always be curled up together, but they ALWAYS know where the other one is!

Nolan and Patsy were in my lap, and Patsy turned and BOOP’d Nolan.
I love the way they gray goes up her belly and chest, and then there’s a definite line at her chin.
Nolan’s all “Mama, I need a hug!”
“I’ma go for a wander, lady,” says Owen.
“Who keeps letting this child wander?!” demands Lilia.
Nolan’s serious little face just KILLS ME.

Charlie’s staying inside near where the cool air comes out, ’cause Charlie’s smart like that.

The Alphabet Soup Gang is 3 weeks old! Everyone is leaving the crate now (especially Owen!), but most of the time they stay either in the crate or right next to it. Except for Owen, they’re not doing a lot of wandering. Owen’s first teeth have come in; Nolan and Patsy’s haven’t yet, but it won’t be long, I can feel them getting ready to come in.
Weight-wise, they’re doing great – with supplementation, everyone is gaining weight and they’re all well within normal range for their age. In the next week they’ll start spending more time out of the crate. In a few days I’ll put out the small litter boxes for them, and I expect that by this time next week they’ll have started using them. The link to their weight chart is right here.
Margarita and Sebastian wonder if it’s time for Churu.

The kittens (who are 3 weeks old now!) are giving themselves baths while Lilia is busy playing. Then Lilia comes over to check on them, the kittens stomp around the crate for a bit, and then it’s milk bar time!
Lilia walked by and gave Nolan the ol’ lickeroo, and now Nolan looks like a little old man with a combover.

Lilia is a playful girl.
🎉 Former fosters 🎉 Princess Periwinkle Fluffy Pantaloons (formerly Tater Tot, gray and white) and Freddie Purrcury (formerly Onion Ring, black) – two of the Vittles kittens from 2020 – turn five today.
They weren’t adopted together, and in fact don’t live anywhere near each other, but I wanted to share these great pics of them and wish them both a happy birthday!
Peri’s mama reports She remains an enigma – aloof and demanding, ferocious and scaredy cat, tiny baby and giant 8 pound pile of floof – to constantly keep us on our toes and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Happy Birthday to our girl 👑 (You can follow her on Instagram at @sirbrinkleypickles)
Freddie’s mama reports that he is still sweet and SO curious, he is brilliant and has to figure out everything in his environment and if we get something new he will not leave it alone until he figures out how it works.
Happy birthday to Peri and Freddie, who are so amazing and so loved. ❤
Good night innernets. (Margarita & Sebastian)
