Time to let me know if you want a holiday card, with this year’s featured kitty! Go here to Postable, enter your name and address, and your card will be on the way soon. I am happy to send cards to other countries, this is NOT limited to U.S. residents. If you have any problems, drop me an email and I’ll do my best to fix it. I’ll take names and addresses until December 20th.
If you’d like to send me a card as well (never ever required, but always appreciated – I don’t keep track of who does or doesn’t send a card, I promise!), send it to:
Robyn Anderson
1260 US HWY 72E, STE B #130

(PS: If that link doesn’t work for you, or you prefer not to enter your info (I delete your name and address once I’ve downloaded it), you can email me – mizrobyn (at) gmail.com – instead.)

I got out the dangly cat toy (a toy attached to a bungee cord) and put it up. I did this a few weeks ago and there wasn’t much interest. This time, however…

It looks like ChaCha is hiding here, but she had just knocked a toy under the bed and was looking for it.

Flamenco said “I’m not getting involved. He’s CRAZY.”

I am SO PLEASED that I caught ChaCha on this leap from the bed to the floor.

Her polite little bat at the toy while Mambo looks up at the cord is killing me.
I got a similar toy to this – with a mouse on the end of the bungee cord – at Amazon last year. I don’t know where I got this exact toy, because it’s not in my Amazon history, I don’t see it on Chewy… it’s a mystery! But if you’re looking for something similar, a search of “doorway hanging cat toy” should get you there.
Also, please don’t let your cat play with this toy unsupervised, and put it away when you’re not around. We want our kitties to be entertained but SAFE.
ChaCha is going home today!

This piece of furniture is a washstand that belonged to Fred’s grandmother. Jake used to sleep in it all the time, but once he was gone no one ever showed any interest, so we started closing it. Earlier this year, when I was looking for a good place to store extra cat beds, I decided this was a good place.
And then.
Khal, who strongly dislikes a closed door, started opening the doors. He never went IN, just pulled the doors open and walked away. Then Charlie did a little looking around and was like “Hey! This looks comfy!”
So now Charlie has a new favorite place to snooze the day away. And I can’t blame him, because it DOES look comfy! If the clean cat beds end up with a coating of Charlie fur on them, well. That’s life!

Posted on social media (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Tumblr/ Bluesky) yesterday.

ChaCha came RACING down the hall, peeked around the door, and then GRABBED this yellow toy mouse. I didn’t even know it was there, but she sure did.

My assistant (Mambo) is loafin’ today.

Flamenco & Mambo have a bath and a snuggle. And the purring you hear is from ChaCha, who was on the other side of me. (I should’ve panned the camera over to her, but alas did not.)

ChaCha is keeping a close eye on the birds.

The kittens have donned their crazypants (my favorite time of the day!) Don’t miss the slow motion clips at the end!

Good night innernets. (Flamenco and Mambo)

Is it just me, or are Tango’s paws way bigger than the other kittens’ paws? Quite often in photos I’m trying to work out if it’s a trick of the angle, or if he does just have quite hefty paws and is likely to grow into quite a big kitto.
I got my holiday card Monday evening! No spoilers, but I would absolutely snuggle the pictured kitty if they’d let me. <3 *Smooch!* on top of said kitty's fuzzy head, sent from up here in the frozen northland, because I can't do that in person and have no idea if they'd allow it anyway.
