When Fred isn’t helping to wrangle kittens, holding them so I can clip claws, or listening to me talk at length about whatever adorable thing they’ve done, he writes books.

We’re getting a lot of hummingbirds lately as they move through, and I’ve been having a lot of fun watching them at the window feeder. Most of the time the kittens don’t notice them… but sometimes they do!
Owen is so cute I just can’t stand it. (I kissed him 1 million times after I took this picture.)
In case you missed the news, all kittens are adoption pending. Nolan (left) and Owen (right) are being adopted together, and Patsy (middle) is joining a home with kitties for her to play with. They’ll go for their spay/neuters on the 24th and head home soon after. (They are all going locally.)
Uncle Charlie was like “Let me in, little kittens. I want to eat your food, use your litter box, and bite you on the neck if you get too close.” Owen put on his floof suit at that idea, and Nolan readied his slappin’ paw.
