Juuust a reminder that the Forgotten Felines of Huntsville online auction ends tomorrow (Saturday) at 7 PM Central Time. Until then, there are a bunch of very cool things you can bid on, including…
This shadow moon cat! Click on the picture above to go directly to that item, or here to see the entire album. (If, for some reason, that link doesn’t work, you can go to the main auction page here.)

So, as far as things with Alice and Charlie go, have you found any way to stop him when he decides to chase her? I ask because we are having the same issue. Our cat, Dexter (who actually looks somewhat like Charlie, too) LOVES to chase our cat, Ivy. Ivy does NOT like to be chased and also ends up peeing on stuff like you’d said Alice did at some point. I saved that post. I’m going to ask the vet about potentially getting her on what Alice is on. Dexter and Ivy got along when he was younger, but now, he just wants to chase her all the time. It’s hard to deal with sometimes
Right now things are going okay because Charlie spends all day outside, and Alice is either in the living room or on the screened porch – so their paths don’t cross that much. But in inclement weather or in the winter, we try to keep an eye on them and step in if he starts to get too intense. I wish the two of them would just chill out and coexist, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

Nolan and the boop! He was soooo close to the shelf…. When do the kittens usually start climbing them?
I want to say maybe another couple of weeks? I think Sebastian was about 10 weeks when he figured them out, but it probably depends on the kitten. I can see them getting up on that lowest shelf soon, but getting from there to the next shelf will take more coordination than I think they have at this point. (These are what are known as “famous last words,” I’m sure. Probably they’ll be up there before the end of the weekend!)

Oh smart move not finding the owner [of Rocco and Trixie] so you could say you thought they were strays and had them spayed and neutered! I’m going to remember that trick for the future.
Plausible deniability for the win! We still don’t know where Rocco’s other home is located (though we have some suspicions) and haven’t gone asking.

Can you tell me what company you use to make your calendars ? Thanks so much
I use Zazzle, and highly recommend them (they are much simpler to use than Cafepress, which is what I used to use.)

Do you pronounce Owen in a Welsh way Oh-en or Oh-won as in we won the game.
I pronounce it Oh-en, but didn’t know that was the Welsh way! (I don’t think I’ve ever heard it pronounced Oh-won.)

Fun fact: the inside of the Who Gives a Crap toilet paper tubes is white (as opposed to the brown cardboard I’m used to seeing.)
“What doin’, weird lady?” wonders Nolan from the Fruitasan.
Nolan loooves a track toy. All of them!
Patsy, belly-up, in the spaceship. (The belly is, indeed, a trap.)
Lilia’s all “Excuse you, am trying to take a bath here.” (A bath pie? My favorite!)
And then she vigorously gave Owen a bath, despite his protests.
Owen’s all “Don’t love the bath, but do like being clean.”

Charlie (right) says “What do you need? We’re trying to melt, here!” Khal (left) just stayed quiet.

Happy Thlurrrpsday, from Nolan.
Throw Back Thursday: Kennebec, in 2012/2013! Watching the kittens’ eyes change always makes me think of him. When he went to Petsmart (and was adopted) at 3 months old, his eyes were still mostly blue-green. When he was returned six months later (due to a divorce, I think), he had these stunning bronze peepers.

A little of this, a little of that: the kittens (and mama) are hungry, Nolan shows off his skitterbug moves, Patsy comes for a snuggle… and then Patsy gets sassy with mama!
Owen (left) and Patsy are all “Excuse you, we’re playing with our track toy. You MIND?”

Nolan gets ANOTHER bath (I guess it’s hard to keep all that fur clean) and then some light bunnykicking from his mama.
Happy Thlurrrpsday, from Lilia.
