Date of birth for Sterling, Franc & Lira: May 22, 2024.
I’m not sure what Tala’s date of birth is, but she seemed pretty young to me. Maybe 1 year old?
Tala.
Franc (boy).
Sterling (boy).
Lira (girl).
Tala and her three kittens came to us on May 25, 2024. Tala had been dumped – while pregnant – along with her sister and their “boyfriend” on someone’s doorstep in rural Alabama. She went to Michelle’s briefly (Michelle is who I foster for) while another space could be found for her. While at Michelle’s she gave birth. The little family came to us for a few days in their journey from Michelle’s to another foster, and took up residence in my bathroom.
(They are all named after types of coins.)
Tala is just the SWEETEST lovebug – I had to check to be sure the kittens weren’t nursing before I went into the bathroom to see her, because otherwise she’d immediately come out for love and petting. If I sat on the floor, she’d climb right into my lap and would stay there as long as I kept petting her. She took excellent care of her kittens, who were on the small side, but unfortunately Sterling passed away late one night.
They went to another foster on May 31st; she’ll foster them until they are ready for adoption. Edited to add: As of October 12th, Tala, Franc and Lira have all been adopted!
